Hostel-style accommodation in The Old Camp is located 2 km from Kangerlussuaq Airport. It lies between Mount Hassel and Sondre Stromfjord, with a beautiful view of Lake Ferguson and the mountains along the fjord to Sisimiut. In winter and spring this is a great place to come and watch the Northern Lights.
It has 82 beds divided into 3 wooden houses:
Ulo: 12 rooms with 2 bunk beds, table, chair, closet and clock radio.
Tuukkaq: 13 double room, 2 single rooms, table, chair, closet and clock radio.
Qajaq: 10 double rooms with box bed, table, chair, closet and clock radio.
A fourth house holds the reception, kiosk, office and staff residence.
