Inuit Dog Sled Journey
A rare opportunity to join the Inuit hunters of the Kulusuk region and learn their ways during an extended springtime dog sled journey deep into the remote frozen fjordlands of East Greenland. Dog Sledding on The Edge.
An exciting wildlife-focused dog sled journey along the edge of the sea ice in the Scoresbysund area of Northeast Greenland. It takes place later in spring when temperatures have risen and the days are long and sunny. Travelling with local Inuit dog sled drivers along the edge of the sea ice, and staying out on the ice overnight, this magical experience gives the opportunity to see a great deal of Arctic animals. Bespoke Dog Sledding Tours
We specialise in arranging bespoke dog sledding tours, primarily to Greenland's East Coast where the dog sled's most important use is still for hunting. These trips provide a unique chance to travel the frozen fjords with Inuit hunters as they have been doing for centuries - there is no one better to show you their beautiful land and their way of life. Such tours can be just a day trip, or a journey of several days, going deep into the wilderness and staying under canvass or in old hunters' huts, hunting along the way to provide food for your dog team.
