This 8 day tour is a combination of two of the most interesting destinations in West Greenland. Ilulissat, the town of the Icebergs combined with the wildlife area of Kangerlussuaq. A great way to get a greater understanding of the Arctic.

Kangerlussuaq
Kangerlussuaq is one of West Greenland's main gateway. It is an exciting destination with a lot to offer.
Greenlandic Wildlife: Kangerlussuaq has become the best area in Greenland to spot Arctic wildlife - just a few minutes away from the hotel you can regularly see reindeer and musk oxen!
The Inland Icecap: No other destination in Greenland offers such easy access to the Icecap as Kangerlussuaq - it is possible to drive by 4x4 directly to it.
Fantastic weather: the location approx. 160km from the coast makes Kangerlussuaq one of the most weather stable destinations in Greenland with lots of sunshine.
Ilulissat
Your chance to experience a modern Greenlandic town north of the Arctic Circle and on the shores of the beautiful and fascinating Disko Bay.
Calving Glaciers and Gigantic Icebergs: Gigantic Icebergs are situated in the Ice Fjord right outside the town and can be experienced at close range on our Midnight Cruises or during full day excursions where we cruise close to the impressive glacier of Eqip. The Ice Fjord has been listed as a World Heritage Site on account of the sheer numbers of icebergs that gather here.
Isolated Settlements: On other excursions we sail to small and remote settlements, where "the old world" of the Greenlandic hunters can still be found.
Home Visit: Meet the local population and learn more about their everyday life.
Helicopter Excursions: Over the Ice Fjord and its gigantic icebergs to Kangia, the Ilulissat Glacier or to Disko Island for a dog sled ride.

Hotel Hvide Falk in Ilulissat is a 3 star hotel offering private facilities. The hotel is located in the centre of the city, the restaurant has a fine view over the Ice Fjord.
