Your chance to experience a modern Greenlandic town north of the Arctic Circle and on the shores of the beautiful and fascinating Disko Bay.

Calving Glaciers and Gigantic Icebergs: Gigantic Icebergs are situated in the Ice Fjord right outside the town and can be experienced at close range on our Midnight Cruises or during full day excursions where we cruise close to the impressive glacier of Eqip.  The Ice Fjord has been listed as a World Heritage Site on account of the sheer numbers of icebergs that gather here.

Isolated Settlements: On other excursions we sail to small and remote settlements, where "the old world" of the Greenlandic hunters can still be found.

Home Visit: Meet the local population and learn more about their everyday life.

Helicopter Excursions: Over the Ice Fjord and its gigantic icebergs to Kangia, the Ilulissat Glacier or to Disko Island for a dog sled ride.

Hotel Hvide Falk in Ilulissat is a 3 star hotel offering private facilities. The hotel is located in the centre of the city, the restaurant has a fine view over the Ice Fjord.
