The traditional village of Alluitsup Paa is located 100 kilometres south of Narsarsuaq. With icebergs drifting in the fjord and whales passing by close to the shore, Alluitsup Paa is without a doubt one of the most exotic destinations in South Greenland.

Guided walk of Alluitsup Paa
The cosy fishing village of Alluitsup Paa is different to most other towns and villages in South Greenland - in many ways it is similar to the traditional fishing villages in the Disko Bay area. We walk slowly through the town and the guide describes daily life here and the history of the village. Lunch at a local restaurant.

The Hot Springs of Uunartoq
Travel by boat to the island of Uunartoq where it will be possible to take a bath in the geothermal hot spring, whilst enjoying the view of icebergs drifting by in the nearby fjord. It's a pretty unique experience! At Uunartoq we will also spend time visiting the ruins and graves of old Eskimo settlements. The cruise continues through the fjord to the colorful settlement of Lichtenau - a former missionary station, but now deserted.
