| With winter fast approaching in Greenland and the first sea ice beginning to form in the sheltered fjords, the last supply boat to the east coast is about to leave. This quite possibly represents the last contact with East Greenland by surface transport until the sea ice breaks next May or June. Therefore, although it seems ages off, most of our supplies and equipment required for next year will be on the boat, next to be seen when we unpack it again for our winter and spring expeditions! |
